The Friday 56: Friday Blog post

Hi all,

I am going to start doing a post every day of various meme posts. The Friday post I wanted to explore today is Friday 56.

The goal for this post is to: Grab any book, turn to page 56, find a sentence (without spoilers) and post it.

The sentence of the book for me was:

“Aimee gets in my face and pushes me against the fridge”

The book that this came from was…………..Drum Roll please……………………

We both die in the end by Adam Silvera!

This book is coming out in September this year. I got this book at Adam Silvera signing because I won a contest. My book friend Marissa is reading this book right now and loves it!

Here is the pretty cover

His next novel, THEY BOTH DIE AT THE END, publishes on September 5th, 2017. He has worked in the publishing industry as a children’s bookseller, community manager at a literary development company, and book reviewer of children’s and young adult novels. He was born and raised in the Bronx. He lives in New York City and is tall for no reason.

Book Summary!

On September 5, a little after midnight, Death-Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: They’re going to die today. Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they’re both looking to make a new friend on their End Day. The good news: There’s an app for that. It’s called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure—to live a lifetime in a single day.

In the tradition of Before I Fall and If I Stay, They Both Die at the End is a tour de force from acclaimed author Adam Silvera, whose debut, More Happy Than Not, the New York Times called “profound.”

I am so excited to read this book and hope to get to the arc this summer! It comes out on September 5 2017!
